Read about Christine's story as a birth mom who gave up her child at her blog, ChristineLindsay.com.
In this tenth year after meeting my birthchild (the baby I relinquished to adoption thirty years ago) God led me to post my true-to-life birthmother story in weekly increments. But it is with soaring delight that my story will be entwined with that of my birthchild's real mom, Anne. I'll begin posting parts of Anne's story of childlessness, attempting to show her heartache and joys, and how God used one small heartbeat to knit our stories together. Anne's story will begin next week, Feb. 22. If you're just starting to read this story, you can go to chapter one, called Secret Places, by clicking on the labels (below) called the Adoption chapters. In addition to being the madly happy mother of 3, grandmother of 3, and wife to David, my second fictional novel was finished at the end of December 2008. Rebekah Clark, my agent, is currently shopping it out to publishing houses as well as the first novel. After I received the call to write, to encourage others, the Lord has met me, and 'wowed' me at every turn, and I've learned a closed door can be just as much a blessing as a open one, because He is always there.
